Organizational eligibility and restrictions: - NIH intramural laboratories and other eligible federal agencies may submit K22 applications on behalf of intramural candidates; however, for an intramural postdoctoral fellow to activate a K22 award, the candidate must transition to an assistant professor (or equivalent) position at an extramural institution. - Foreign (non-U.S.) organizations are not eligible to apply.
