The NIA K22 Career Transition Award helps postdoctoral researchers move into tenure-track or similar faculty roles. It offers three years of salary and research funding, but only after they have left the postdoctoral phase. Applicants should be prepared to transition within 12 months of receiving the award. The research must not involve independent clinical trials.
