Additional Eligibility Information
Limited competition. Only current NIDDK-supported K01, K08, K23, or K25 award recipients are eligible PD/PI applicants for this R03. K-recipients who have already successfully competed for an R01 (or equivalent) are ineligible. Ideally, applicants should have at least one year remaining on their K award at the intended R03 start date; at minimum, the K award must be active at the earliest intended R03 start date (including no-cost extensions).
