Description

The R03 grants are designed to fund small-scale clinical and translational science research projects. These projects can include pilot studies, feasibility studies, secondary data analysis, development of research methods, or new research technologies. The grants aim to support projects that are short-term, use limited resources, and provide preliminary data to aid in applying for larger grants in the future. Patient-oriented research may or may not be included.

Additional Eligibility Information
Limited competition: This NOFO is restricted to NCATS CTSA Program KL2/K12 scholars. The PD/PI must be a scholar who received direct NCATS funding from the NCATS CTSA Program Institutional Career Development Core/Program (KL2/K12) and completed the KL2/K12 training program (verified via accepted KL2/K12 xTrain appointment forms).
