The Petrology and Geochemistry Program funds research on Earth's formation and changes through igneous and metamorphic processes. Projects typically explore topics like the petrology and high-temperature geochemistry of rocks, mineral physics, economic geology, and volcanology. Proposals for developing new analytical tools, models, and techniques for these fields are also welcome.
