Description
This grant supports basic research on Earth's formation and changes, focusing on igneous and metamorphic processes. It seeks proposals on the petrology and high-temperature geochemistry of related rocks, mineral physics, economic geology, and volcanology. It also welcomes proposals for developing new analytical tools, theoretical and computational models, and experimental techniques for use in these scientific fields.
