The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced that organizations holding certain NIH grants can apply for a change of recipient organization. This means the grant could potentially be transferred to a different organization, but it's not guaranteed. Such requests must be approved beforehand and will be reviewed by the Grants Management Specialist mentioned in the current award. Applicants are encouraged to talk with the awarding Institute or Center (IC) before submitting a request.
