The Corridor Identification and Development (Corridor ID) Program is a new intercity passenger rail planning initiative aimed at creating a ready-to-implement pipeline of rail projects. It focuses on long-term development and is designed to be the main channel for Federal funding and technical support for new or improved intercity passenger rail services across the U.S.
