The Corridor Identification and Development (Corridor ID) Program is a national initiative focused on planning and developing intercity passenger rail systems across the U.S. It aims to create a ready-to-implement list of rail projects for long-term development, unlike past federal efforts. The program will serve as the main source of federal financial support and technical help for developing new or enhanced passenger rail services in the country.
