- Sponsoring institution commitment: The applicant (sponsoring) institution must assure support for the proposed program, including adequate staff, facilities, and educational resources. - Distinct from other federally funded training: Institutions with existing NRSA institutional training grants (e.g., T32) or other federally funded training programs may apply, but the proposed research education activities must be distinct from those training programs.
