  • Purpose: Support fundamental, quantitative research on how nanomaterials and nanosystems interact with biological systems and the environment, including quantum effects that drive observable and physiological changes.
  • Example materials: 1D–3D nanostructures, nano–bio hybrids, dendrimers and micelles, quantum dots, and other nanoparticles.
