The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) is renewing funding for the National Consortium on Alcohol and Neurodevelopment in Adolescence (NCANDA), which started in 2012. This initiative studies how adolescent drinking impacts brain development and mental health into adulthood.
