The Technical Assistance on State Data Collection program aims to help states enhance their ability to meet the data collection and reporting requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Funding is authorized under section 611(c)(1) of IDEA, which allows for technical assistance activities under section 616(i), using up to one-half of one percent of the appropriated funds for each fiscal year.
