The AHRQ Small Research Grant Program (R03) offers funding for short-term health services research projects, which should be able to be finished within two years. Additional Eligibility Information
AHRQ’s authorizing legislation does not allow for-profit organizations to be eligible to lead applications under this mechanism. For-profit organizations may participate only as members of consortia or as subcontractors. Foreign (non-U.S.) institutions are not eligible to apply; because the purpose is to improve healthcare in the United States, foreign institutions may participate only as consortia members or subcontractors.
