This grant opportunity seeks to improve Senegal's public health infrastructure to better handle infectious disease threats. It aims to strengthen health surveillance systems, enhance laboratory networks, and improve workforce training. The following categories of applicants are invited to apply:
- County governments
- Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- For profit organizations other than small businesses
- State governments
- Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Special district governments
- Independent school districts
- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
- Small businesses
- Private institutions of higher education
- City or township governments
- Unrestricted (i.e., open to any type of entity above), subject to any clarification in text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility"
