The NHPRC is offering grants for projects aimed at enhancing online access to historical records collections. The focus is on projects that involve the public and enhance civic education by exploring U.S. history, democracy, and culture from the founding era to today. Priority is given to projects involving early legal records, such as documents from colonial and early statehood periods, which are crucial for understanding the development of the nation's legal history.
