The grant aims to support FDA's Office of Minority Health and Health Equity in collaborating with stakeholders to educate and raise public awareness about the risks of skin lightening products containing hydroquinone and mercury. Applicants are expected to research and suggest innovative, community-based strategies to enhance scientific understanding and public health awareness regarding the use and risks of these over-the-counter products.
