Description
This grant is available for Maui-based businesses impacted by the August 8, 2023 Lahaina and Upcountry wildfires. To qualify, businesses must be registered with the Hawaiʻi Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, have their primary operations on Maui, and possess a Hawaii General Excise Tax ID with a registered Maui address. Grants will be awarded between $1,000 and $20,000, depending on the business's gross annual income for 2022 or the most recent GET filing period.
