Description
If you are a Virginia landowner who harvests timber and maintains a streamside buffer, you may qualify for a tax credit. This credit is 25% of the value of the timber you keep as a buffer, with a maximum credit of $17,500 for the tax year when the harvesting is completed. Eligible entities include individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, family partnerships, grantors, trusts, and limited liability companies.
