Description
NSF Atmosphere Cluster (within the Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences) funds fundamental research on atmospheric processes from the Earth’s surface to the stratosphere, spanning timescales from nanoseconds to millennia. The work should advance understanding of clouds, weather, climate, air quality, and the water cycle using modeling, observations, lab/field experiments, and/or new measurement techniques.
