The following categories of applicants are invited to apply:

  • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
  • County governments
  • Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification)
  • Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
  • Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)
  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
  • City or township governments

Eligible applicants are limited to: units of local government, Tribal governments, Tribal organizations, victim service providers, institutions of higher education, and private or public nonprofit organizations.
