Program/Phase context: The applicant institution will be the mentored phase (K99) institution. All organization types listed are eligible for both the mentored (K99) and independent (R00) phases, with these exceptions: (1) Eligible agencies of the Federal Government (e.g., NIH Intramural) are eligible ONLY for the mentored K99 phase; (2) For organizations other than institutions of higher education, eligibility for the R00 phase depends on the nature of the appointment and whether the PD/PI can…
