Applications involving the NIH Intramural Research Program: Requests by NIH intramural scientists are limited to incremental costs required for participation; no salary or fringe benefits for permanent Federal employees and no administrative/facilities (F&A) costs may be requested. Allowable costs can include salary for temporary project staff, consultant costs, equipment, supplies, travel, and other typical Other Expenses.
