The NEH Humanities Research Centers on Artificial Intelligence program funds the creation of new collaborative humanities research centers focused on understanding AI and its impacts in the United States. It supports sustained teams of multiple scholars who will explore the humanities implications of AI through two or more related scholarly activities. The goal is to build lasting centers that deepen insight into AI’s role and consequences for society.
