The Instrumentation and Facilities Program in the Division of Earth Sciences (EAR/IF) provides funding for infrastructure that supports research and education in the Earth sciences. Grants are available for:

  1. Acquisition or Upgrade of Research Equipment: Supports advancements in laboratory and field research and training, with a maximum request of $500,000 for equipment and $75,000 for computing facilities upgrades.
