The following categories of applicants are invited to apply:

  • PD(s)/PI(s) at domestic institutions holding an active NIH grant or cooperative agreement (parent award must be eligible under PA-20-272)
  • Domestic Higher Education Institutions (public or private) with an active NIH grant/cooperative agreement
  • Domestic Nonprofit Organizations (with or without 501(c)(3) status) with an active NIH grant/cooperative agreement
  • Domestic For-Profit Organizations (including small businesses) with an active NIH grant/cooperative agreement
  • Domestic Government Entities (State, Local, Tribal) with an active NIH grant/cooperative agreement
  • Other domestic research institutions (e.g., hospitals, independent research institutes) with an active NIH grant/cooperative agreement
Additional Eligibility Information
This Notice supports administrative supplements for re-entry, re-integration, re-training, and re-tooling to promote research continuity. Organizational eligibility is limited to PD(s)/PI(s) at domestic institutions that already hold an active NIH grant or cooperative agreement in an activity code eligible under PA-20-272. The parent award must have at least 1 year remaining at the time the supplement is issued. Center grants P20, P30, and P60 are eligible for supplements only if they contain r…
