Description
The San Juan River Basin Endangered Fish Recovery Program aims to aid in the recovery of endangered fish species, particularly the Colorado pikeminnow and razorback sucker. The main barrier to recovering razorback suckers is the lack of suitable rearing habitat. Since adequate water flow from Navajo Reservoir is unavailable to create these habitats naturally, the program is focusing on alternative solutions.
