This program supports creating standards and advancing designs for high‑voltage direct current circuit breakers (HVDC CBs). The goal is to make sure these breakers can safely protect and seamlessly interoperate within multi‑terminal HVDC grids and with today’s high‑voltage AC and DC transmission systems.
