Description

The NEI offers grants to assist with planning large-scale clinical vision research projects, such as clinical trials and studies on eye conditions. This funding helps applicants develop a detailed Manual of Procedures (MOP) and conduct preliminary studies for refining procedures or assessing recruitment potential. However, the grant cannot be used to gather data on the effects of an intervention. This opportunity applies to both epidemiologic studies and clinical trials.
