Description
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is providing around $1 million in grants to boost projects aimed at reducing waste, reusing materials, recycling, and composting in communities outside the Twin Cities metro area. Called the Greater Minnesota Waste Reduction, Reuse, Recycling, and Composting (Greater MN WRRRC) Grant, this initiative seeks to improve local waste management, decrease landfill use, and provide environmental and economic benefits to the region.
