Sponsoring institution must assure institutional support and commitment (adequate staff, facilities, educational resources). Applicant institution must have a strong, high-quality research program in the proposed area(s) with requisite faculty, staff, potential trainees, and on-site facilities; the program is expected to complement other career development programs and involve faculty with active research projects.
