The Southeast Region’s Endangered Species Program offers competitive Flex Funds to support projects that conserve and recover endangered, threatened, candidate, and other species of conservation concern. Eligible applicants include educators, researchers, non-federal agencies, private businesses, individuals, and other partners.

Eligibility

Unrestricted (i.e., open to any type of entity above), subject to any clarification in text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility"

Applicants should have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the biology and conservation needs of endangered, threatened, candidate, and species of conservation interest to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in the southeastern U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
