The Linguistics Program provides funding for research on the fundamental aspects of human language, including syntax, semantics, morphology, phonetics, and phonology. Interdisciplinary projects that explore psychological, computational, acoustic, physiological, neurobiological, social, and cultural aspects of language are encouraged.
