The Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity offers financial relief to hotels impacted by the opening of the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City. Eligible hotels can apply to recover income losses through a contract with GOEO. Applications started on August 16, 2023, and the program has $2.1 million available annually for four years. If claims are higher than available funds, payments will be distributed proportionally.
