Description
This grant aims to support research focused on understudied proteins related to pain and pain management. It provides funding to generate preliminary data or tools to better understand these proteins and identify new drug targets for pain treatment. The grant is part of the NIH HEAL Initiative, which seeks to develop new medications to address various stages of opioid addiction, including chronic use, withdrawal, craving, relapse, and overdose.
